Texaco launches "Energía para Aprender" Campaign
The multinational oil and gas company Texaco has launched the second edition of their fundraising campaign “Energía para Aprender” that will benefit at least 15 schools under USAID|Alianzas reconstruction project.
The campaign includes materials published on TV, radio, newspapers, website and social media. Texaco is investing approximately US$120,000 in this campaign. The concept of the campaign is that for every gallon that you buy with them a percentage will be donated to a fund for the reconstruction of 15 schools. Rotary International will be in charge of the implementation. Last year Texaco raised funds for the reconstruction of 9 schools and this year the expectation is to raise enough funds to reach 15 schools. The campaign will be in the media from October 3rd to November 23rd.
